Best Damn Habitat for Camping

Picked up the latest version of the Overlandish Basecamp with all it's latest bells, whistles, and features. Took it up to NW of Flagstaff camping a few weekends back and it was definitely not a disappointment. Quite the opposite. Hands down, it's the best damn tent and design of any temporary human habitat (cough cough tent) that I've ever had the pleasure to luxuriously camp in. Sure it was just me and the dog, but there was loads of room for all my gear, and could of easily fit another person in it, pimped out glamping style. Most definitely happy with this purchase.

Game Changer

I ditched investing in a micro camper or roof top tent once I stumbled upon the Basecamp standard on Youtube as an alternative overland sleeping solution. It's an intuitive design that sets up and breaks down very easily. It's really nice to have a tent that offers an overabundance of space, insulation, wind protection, while the set up/breakdown is not on your mind at all. I plan on taking it across the Midwest into Colorado and Utah for a 3 week overlanding trip. Im confident it will do its job well. The only thing i wish is that the foot print was included. Other then that, I think it's a solid investment for some serious and stress free camping.

Great tent overall

This is a great tent overall. But upon checking the there was a discoloration on the top part of the tent, I’m not quite sure what cause it but its really visible when sunlight is out out also one of the pole just came out. I will need to contact distributor for this.

Outstanding new design

The new design windows offer great ventilation while not compromising the original design. I've only had it out on an overnighter but setup was simple and takedown was just as easy. I would recommend this tent to anyone who wants a durable quick setup . A+

I like this tent!

I haven’t been camping with it yet but I set it up in the backyard and it is everything I expected. This is a solid, well-built tent and I would buy it again. The only issue is squeezing it tight enough to put the straps around it when disassembling. I had to put a cinching tie-down strap around it to squeeze it small enough to get the regular strap around it. I'm 73 years old and only weigh 150 lbs, though. So maybe that’s the problem. I don’t really care. I like the tent and look forward to lots of good times in the desert with it.
