Basecamp and Basecamp SOLO Tough Bags

I purchased this bag in order to haul my Solo tent on top of my 4Runner. I emailed them after looking at the dimensions of the bags on their website. Both the Basecamp and Basecamp Solo were showing the same size. They informed me to purchase the small bag for the Solo. Well, I received the bag and it is very good quality. But, it is a very tight fit for the Solo. I was beginning to think it wasn’t going to fit at all. But, my wife and I finally got it stuffed into the bag. So, be aware that the Solo bag is going to be a very snug fit.

Must have to protect your investment. So nice to have piece of mind while it’s on the rack or in the bed of the truck. Bag is thick and tough, well worth the dough!

The Overlandish Base Camp tent is awesome, but with that awesomeness comes weight. The nylon carrying bag that comes with the tent will not hold up to extended use. But the Tough Bag will! The material is super heavy duty and it appears that even the zipper is waterproof. It was specifically designed to contain this tent. It keeps its shape making stowing the tent into the bag easier. It easily swallows the tent and has room for the fly and footprint. And it’s made in the America! This bag really should just come with the tent, even if they have to raise the price of the tent to accommodate that.

Let me first say that I love the tent and the bag is amazing quality… that being said … it took all of my strength to fit the tent i this bag…
