Buy this tent!

I’ve used this tent in all weather extremes. It’s very rigid and holds up against 50mph wind gusts in the desert with no issue. The rain fly keeps it completely dry during rainstorms. Using a diesel heater, it held up great against freezing cold temps in Yosemite (10-15 degrees) . The top vents and doors allow enough ventilation to feel nice and cool during the summertime. Overall I’m very impressed with this tent, the owner Mark is very friendly and helpful with answering questions and taking care of any issues. The tent itself is really 1 minute to set up, probably 10min max if you’re staking the tent and rain fly together.

Positive Review for Basecamp Standard Overland(ish) Tent

The Basecamp Standard Overland(ish) tent truly sets a new standard for quality and durability in the camping world. From the moment you unpack it, the craftsmanship is immediately evident. This is not your average tent. The materials used are top-tier: the heavy-duty canvas feels built to withstand the elements, while the zippers, seams, and reinforcements all speak to a level of thoughtful design and construction you rarely see anymore.

Setting it up is straightforward, and once it’s up, it feels incredibly secure, no flapping in the wind. It holds up beautifully in both hot and cold conditions, and the ventilation system is smartly designed to keep the interior comfortable year-round.

In short, the Basecamp Standard Overland(ish) is not just a great tent, it’s one of the best on the market today. For those who value rugged reliability, high-quality materials, and a tent that’s built to last, this is the one to get.

Can't say enough positive things.

Rad tent. Owner walked me through purchase and took great care of me. One of the best experiences I've had in a long time. Solid construction. Solid experience.

2 tents are better than 1.

Went camping at Twin Lakes up in Mammoth with our daughter and son in-law. We used our base camp and they used our solo tent. We had some 45 mph gusts and the tents never moved. We had a lot of interested campers drop by, about 10. They loved the design and I directed them to your website. Headed up Coyote Flats next month, should be fun.

It truly is a Basecamp!

My initial impressions having had the Basecamp set up for about a week: very high quality; very comfortable; over engineered (which to me is a compliment); makes a fantastic base camp tent for teams, hunters, or families on trips; and must be single handedly keeping the Velcro company in business.
